R. Scott Troutt

      I was born and raised right here in Jonesboro. I’ve lived many other places, but keep getting drawn back to my hometown. I went to college at Vanderbilt University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. With degree in hand, I set out to find how to best help those that gave me the knowledge and drive to get that degree. I came back to Arkansas, selling real estate for a year, and then going down to the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law to get my Juris Doctor. After a stint in politics and law practice down there, I made it my goal to come back to my hometown and serve its legal needs.

      I run a general practice, with an emphasis on Real Estate and Family Law. However, I am equipped to take any variety of case. Give me a call sometime. All telephone and online consultations are, of course, free of charge.

The Troutt Law Firm

      The Troutt Law Firm is a Jonesboro, Arkansas based firm established by R. Scott Troutt in February of 2015. However, my firm had its roots established here in Jonesboro since 2011, when I started out as the Law Offices of R. Scott Troutt. Since that time, my firm has seen many changes, the most recent being a move to a new building downtown. However, my commitment to my clients has always stayed the same.

      I believe that there are three things that every client deserves: communication, preparation and honesty. Every client needs a frank ssessment of their case, and it is impossible to provide that without actually communicating with the client. Being involved in a legal battle is hard enough, and your lawyer should not make that experience worse.
